Catching Up With Jaden Rasch

Jaden has had a busy year. He has loved 7th grade. He has spent a lot of time hanging out with his buddy Alex. They have done some hysterical Spanish projects together this year. He has also spent some time with his cousins and his family. We love going to the zoo. Jaden loves to see if the alligator has moved since the last time we were there! He also still loves playing with his Nintendo DS and his Playstation. He has also turned in to a "You Tube" junkie. He's always finding funny stuff to watch. He is really excited for summer. Only 6 more weeks of school Jaden!

7th Grade Halloween

As you can see, Jaden was the hit of the party! His funny personality came out this Halloween. He and his frriends dressed up as girls this year. Jaden was a Fashion Polly, and his friends consisted of two Hannah Montanna's, Barbie, and two Wendy's from the Wendy's commericals.

First Day Of School

Jaden is pretty excited for school this year. He is in 7th grade and thinks that he rules the school! He did look "HOT" on the first day! Hey chics...here I come!

Getting Out of the Wake...

Jaden loves wakeboarding! This year he tried getting out of the wake. Check out the play by play pictures we took. We don't need to tell the story because his face tells it all!

Oh, What Do you Do When You're Killing Time...

when you are in Las Vegas? Do you check out exotic cars, dance on the big piano at FAO Schwartz, ride anything around the store that has wheels, play all the video games (including air hockey), see the lastest Harry Potter movie, have your picture taken in front of half naked statues, play in the swimming pool and eat at the Cheesecake Factory (twice). Is that what you do? So do I!

And Here's My Back Flip...

Last year Jaden learned how to back flip by running up a wall. This year, he can do it without the wall, just about anywhere. His favorite place to do it is on the tramp. He likes it because you can get so high. Now, that's all he does when it is his turn to jump.

Lights, Camera, Action!

Last week Jaden had the opportunity to be on the TV show, Good Things Utah. It was pretty awesome hanging out in the green room and watching how a live show works. The group did an amazing job on the dance. Hollywood here we come!

So, You Think You Can Dance!

Jaden's new FAVORITE thing to do is dance. He is in the competing break dancing group here in Park City. They have had two competitions so far. They have done really well. They have earned many awards including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. They have also received High Point Awards for both of their dances. Also, Most Entertaining! We love watching him dance. He's actually really pretty good. He made his Aunt Kimmi and Cousin Staci cry when they watched his dances! Thanks Jaden, we love having something to tease them about! Keep up the hard work, you look great!

Hi, My Name Is Jaden

Everywhere we go Jaden meets a new friend. This Salt Lake vacation was no exception. He met two boys at the swimming pool. They had a blast playing keep away. We also learned that Jaden doesn't really like his picture taken. So everytime we tried to take it at the pool we got a picture of his best side! We also learned that he really like dessert, especially creme brulee. On our trip he also found the car he would like when he turns 16, no pressure mom and dad I would just like a Ferrari 360 Spyder. All we have to say is good luck Jaden!

Happy Birthday, Cha Cha Cha!

Jaden just turned 12 and had about the best birthday of his life. He got every single thing he wanted. Wow! Lucky boy! His favorites were a cell phone, the new Warcraft, another airsoft gun, of course a special motorcycle picked out by Jaxon, more bionicles and a few things for his ipod. Oh yeah, we measured him right on his big day and he is almost 60 inches tall. I guess it just doesn't get any better when you turn 12!

Christmas Goes By So FAST!

Jaden's favorite time of year is when it snows, so I guess that means that one of his favorite holiday's is Christmas! As you can see there were many presents for Jaden. I guess this means he was a good boy this year! He got a lot of surprises, but his biggest surprise was as an airsoft gun. Apparently Santa had the gun tweeked a little so it will shoot 525 FPS (that's feet per second!) Wow! So our Christmas morning was a little chilly because the Ty and Jaden were shooting the gun out the front door!

Keep Away From...

Jaden and Uncle Bryan had a running game of keep away going when we went to St. George with our family a couple of weeks ago. It was fun to watch. Jessie was a great sport, for some reason she always ended up in the middle. Thanks to Bryan, she was able to make it out a couple of times. Jaden, well as you can guess, he hardly ever was the one in the middle! Good game Jaden!

Some Things Never Change!

Even though Jaden is getting older, some things never change. Like give this boy a stick and he will be entertained for days! At Lake Powell Jaden found a stick. You might think it was a magic stick because it never left his sight. He carried it around, swam in the water with it, took it on boat rides, and even had a special spot for it to sleep since mom wouldn't let him bring it in the tent!

First Day of Middle School

Can you believe that Jaden is going to middle school? We sure can't! He has had to calm mom down by telling her relax, he likes school. And dad, well he thinks it awesome. Jaden has made so many new friends. He is most excited for the dance that is coming up. For him it's all about the social scene! He's starting to get phone calls from the chics and always wants to be out with his friends. Agh! They grow up so fast!

California Coast

Jaden had a great time in California when we went. He loves the beach and is a major boogie boarder. He also enjoyed the Wild Animal Park. (Notice in the picture with the animals his hands do not touch them. That's my boy!) He also got to know his cousin Abbey really well. They were assigned to be buddies at the beach and at all the theme parks we visited. He was pretty excited that she learned how to boogie board so she could board with him. He was also a great buddy to Jaxon. He is always watching out for him, making sure he didn't miss anything!

Boat Driver Jaden!

Jaden got his boating merit badge on the last Scout trip. He is turning in to a fabulous boat driver. Everyone that knows him can totally imagine how cautious he is. He is constantly aware of all the boats and especially the one's with skiers. Even though we all may have been a little "sea sick" after he drove, we decided he did a pretty good job!
